May you grasp how wide, how long, how high, how deep, the love of Christ is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is to great to truly understand. Then, you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

FRIENDS

Upon arriving here in Malaysia I met Fay Harris who is married to Locke Harris a long time friend of my dad and my husband. Fay is also from Lafayette. She was that one person that I could ask thousands of questions about where to find certain things, where not to shop, where to shop when I arrived in KL. Fay and Locke have been transferred back to the US, Lafayette La. to be exact .Their last week here we celebrated with them during a few gatherings. Living overseas I have realized that your close friends become very much like your family. Tyler and I have made some really great friends that  know matter where we end up I am sure we will stay in contact. We will miss Locke and Fay very much and hope to catch up with them over the summer while we are back in Louisiana. We miss y'all already Bon Voyage!

A NEW YEAR 2013

Our FAMILY

What does 2013 mean for our Family. Lots of changes and excitement are on there way!
We will welcome Our first grand baby into the world sometime in mid April. Andrew and Jaylen are expecting a baby boy his name will be Emmitt Reid. We wish them the best of luck and know they will be great parents. My only advice is ignore everyone else's advice and do whats right for you and your child, you are the parents.
Mattie will be graduating in May from ISKL, She is very excited! Another chapter in her life will begin with college in the fall. She has been accepted to University of North Texas.
We will be returning to the states for most of the summer and will split our time between the beach in Santa Rosa, Louisiana, and Texas.
We will continue our travels and plan to visit the Great Wall and the Terracotta Soldiers.

Reflections of 2012

We survived our move to another country and have adapted to our surroundings.
We will never complain about a 3 hour plane ride again.
We have traveled to 5 countries in only 7 months of moving abroad.
We have become closer as a family, and have a different appreciation for the world around us.
I believe that Tyler and I have showed our children that there is a Big World out there, no dream is to big, and to never settle.
Their lives will be richer for being able to live among  people of other cultures.
Thanks to Vonage we are able to talk and keep up with Andrew, who we miss very much.

My four beautiful Children!

Our Puppy Zo was very happy to see us!

CHRISTMAS 2012

As some of you may already know we returned to the states for the Holidays. Although no one knew we were coming everyone seem to be pleasantly surprised. Three months before Christmas Tyler and I came up with a plan that we would not only surprise Mattie, Nora, Alec and Andrew, but both of our families also. We decided that there are never any Christmas surprises anymore as the kids have gotten older they ask for things they want we buy them, wrap them, and wait for Christmas morning to unwrap. We already had a trip planned, so we put our 16 hour detour into play. We spent 5 days in Dubai and as we arrived at the airport to leave for Beijing and then Singapore the kids never looked at their boarding pass. Can you believe? Watch the surprise below

Here are a few pics we took over Christmas!
